After living for over 17 years in Turkey, we sold our house there in 2014 and decided to become Ageing Nomads, travelling the world with just one suitcase and two items of hand luggage.
Since then, we have enjoyed extended visits to Goa, Egypt, Malta and Gozo with two weeks in The Maldives, followed by three months on Langkawi Island, Malaysia and on Koh Lanta, Thailand for a month. April and May were spent in Egypt for two months and after a brief visit to the UK to visit our extended family, we enjoyed a long-overdue two-week tour of four European cities.
Then it was Vietnam for a three-month stay in Da Nang & Hoi An followed by a month each in Ko Samui, Thailand and Bali Indonesia.
After two weeks visiting our daughter and family in Western Australia, we Re now in Bentota, Sri Lanka for seven weeks.
