I am a 50+ gal who had a the honor and privilege of living and working 7 years at the Grand Canyon, 15 at Lake Powell. I began my adventure at the world-famous El Tovar Hotel, then moved on to the Bright Angel Tour Desk, where I checked in mule riders and Phantom Ranch hikers, booked train, raft, airplane and helicopter tours, and answered a ton of questions about National Parks in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. I've literally seen the Grand Canyon from every side: North, South, East and West, from above and below. I've ridden the mules, hiked the trails, rafted the rapids and ridden the rails. I've flown over the Grand Canyon in both airplanes and helicopters, strolled on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, and bathed in the waters of Havasu Falls. I've lived in Evanston, Wyoming since 2010, and still remain involved in Northern Arizona tourism from behind the scenes. I also have a fun little "side hustle" as a bass player in a cover band.
