A spacious living/dining room area opens to the comfortably furnished balcony overlooking the beach,offering 'magical' sunsets every evening provided by Mother Nature. The bedroom has a king-size or two twin beds, and split system airconditioning with remote control . The condominium complex is well situated in the path of the Tradewinds, allowing optimization of cross-ventilation for interior cooling as the condo has lockable wrought iron gates front and back, plus with the added comfort of air conditioning in the bedroom for extra sleeping comfort. The livingroom has convertible sofas which can also be used for sleeping an extra family member,as they convert to a single bed. There is Wifi & hi speed modem ,G4 internet access with cable for USB port, & phone making communication simple. The dining area comfortably seats 5. The full bathroom has a separate vanity with granite countertop, dressing area with mirrors & hairdryer, plus ample storage space & security chest for safe keeping of documents,valuables Condo has its own hot watersystem so there is never a shortage of hot water,(plus water is drinkable out of the tap, as Barbados has some of the best water in the world!) There're portable fans,ceiling fans,airconditioning,microwave,coffee maker,blender, new llat screen 40' TV, phones, ,,all linens dishes,glasses, acrylics for use by pool. The tropical garden with Wifi, provides a luxuriant oasis for relaxation, with a freshwater pool, shower & lounge chairs, umbrellas, & is beachside - the sea, just a few steps away. Sunbed mattresses are stored at the condo for extra comfort.The beach is safe for swimming, snorkeling, water sports,or an easy short stroll to a beach bar or shopping centre, from which buses run every few minutes into the city centre or to places of interest. All beaches are public. There are banks,car hire, taxis, and local inexpensive buses into Bridgetown, and 'tourist attractions' which are used by both visitors and local alike. Holetown is 28 km from the airport, is home to many fashionable restaurants, & the upscale new Lime Grove mall. Dining and shopping are within easy walking distance, & many watersports are available on the beach at your doorstep. Two nightclubs, bars, gambling at 'slots', karaoke, restaurants, some with music/vocalist, plus a new dine-in cinema! are close by for evening entertainment. There are many different types of 'tourist attractions'such as Huntes Gardens, Orchid World, the Flower Forest, Andromeda Gardens, a small rain forest, 'Welchman's Gully',( and of course, the chance of seeing the famous 'green monkeys' there and/or at the Wildlife Reserve.) Plus there are many historic plantation homes open to the public.The local parish church built in 1629, St. James' bell, was cast by the same foundry that made the original Liberty Bell!. Harrison's Caves, provide a fascinating tour of illuminated underground caverns, & at the north of the island is the Animal flower Cave. Swimming with the endangered turtles is a very popular activity, as is scuba diving & snorkelling at Folkestone marine park, a 10 minute walk away, For those who don't want to walk that far, the new man made reef outside the condos, has an amazing diversity of over 50 different species visible on its outside edge, including tangs, puffers, parrots, black damsels, French angels, trumpets, etc. It's also starting to grow coral too, and folks report seeing visiting turtles and rays plus an octopus has been residing there! ! Close by are Water sports and red jetski (66H) operator Mali provides discounted rates to our guests and can arrange the best rate for other hires. In Late April sometimes whales visit the bay outside our condo, and lucky visitors are sometimes able to spot them while riding on the jet ski. There're also sea trips on the Jolly Roger, Atlantis submarine,and glass bottom boats. Other activities are horseback riding on the beach, fishing - deep sea,or off the beach.Tennis and golf are nearby. Popular spectator sports are horse racing, polo, surfing, cricket and sport's bar showing TV matches We recommend applying for the re-discover voucher available free from the re-discover website - so that visitors can take advantage of the special program whereby one can dine at certain upscale restaurants, which are offering a 3 course meal, tax, tip, and a bottle of wine per couple for just $100 US (one must pre-book and specify the re-discover menu) - there is also a 10% discount off many luncheon venues with the voucher, and discounts at some tourist attractions too - plus one can also enter a free competition for a week's stay next year free! Dine at one of the 50 best restaurants in the world! - The Cliff -reservations are required. Plus the famous Sandy Lane Hotel, one of the most luxurious, and upmarket hotels worldwide, popular with the rich and famous, is just a 10 minute drive away. Holetown also has numerous bars and restaurants, ranging from fast food to bistros, & gourmet dining, plus many restaurants also provide 'take out'. Barbados offers an opportunity to experience a Caribbean lifestyle influenced by its traditional British history.The first settlers arrived in1627,& the island still retains its British Parliamentary system. It has a reliable infrastructure, offering the comforts and safety of most Western countries. Since the island is roughly triangular in shape, the 3 coasts offer a totally different ambience. The east coast bordered by the Atlantic ocean, is wild, rugged, beautiful, isolated, & unsuitable for swimming in most areas. The south coast, has heavy surf, and is more industrial, commercial, & has numerous fast food outlets, plus local markets. The west coast, known internationally as the Platinum Coast,borders the blue Caribbean Sea, which is normally calm and suitable for all varieties of water sports. The Best Panoramic View on the west coast !! Easy access (4 min. walk)to stores, bars, restaurants, banks, etc.- NOT on the main road so NO constant traffic noise -(there is a hotel next door which plays music between 8.00pm- 10-30pm ) Instant access to the beach - which is only 10 feet away, ( I walk 4 miles on the beach every morning!) - garden with pool plus sun and shade with trees,flowers, umbrellas, garden furniture. - Safety. features galore !- Easy access (4 min. walk) bank, to bus into city, or taxis, or car hire. Supermarket will even deliver groceries. As Barbados lies outside the hurricane belt, usual weather is blue sunny skies and white puffy clouds, normal showers being of short duration. About the neighbourhood

.Located on the west coast (Caribbean side of Barbados), this beachfront condo is within a 5 min. walking distance of bars, restaurants, banks, shopping, supermarket, car hire, and boutiques. It is a 28 km drive from the airport by taxi - and a bus into the city Bridgetown takes 20 mins. Buses are inexpensive, run frequently and are used by visitors and locals alike. It is possible to visit places of interest by bus -or by hiring a car, or taking a taxi. All beaches are public in Barbados - private beaches are not allowed. The west coast known as the Platinum Coast, is famous for its normally calm seas, upscale 5* hotels, residential estates, golf courses, and gourmet restaurants. Getting around

In the Holetown area walking is a great way to get around.... to go further afield - the buses run along Hwy #1 (the main road) frequently and cost $2,00 Bbs per person per trip =$1.00 USD Holetown is a fantastic place to be able to walk to most of the places for bars, restaurants. evening entertainment, banks, shopping and a some great beachfront locales where one can watch the fabulous west coast sunsets.... not just when the sun disappears below the horizon, but the 'after sunset' colour show, that Mother Nature supplies every evening when the skies turn beautiful and sometimes amazing colours!
