Mont Rouge is a working fruit farm nestled between the towering Winterhoek Mountains situated 12 km north of Tulbagh. We are producing fresh fruit for the local and export market. Produce includes peaches, nectarines, plums, apples, pears, tomatoes, oranges and soft citrus. The fruit are hand picked and then sorted in the packing shed on the farm from where it is shipped to the different markets. The farm management team consists out of father and two sons who are supported by 50 employees. Our lovely wives will be tending to you, our guests. All trees except the citrus are deciduous , so they lose their leaves in winter after colorful autumns and with the spring blossoms, fruit in summer or snow on the mountain peaks; there are always a difference in scenery with the changing seasons. You are invited to come and visit us for interesting farm tours, weddings and conferences at our scenic venue and relaxing gardens, or to stay over in our warm self catering cottage. This will give you a chance to free your mind, refresh your soul, spent quality time with your loved ones and give you insight into the local traditions.
