About the neighbourhood
Galbally Village hosts a couple of small shops, a post-office, two hairdressers, two take-away restaurants, 3 pubs (all within walking distance from the Cottage) has a beautiful church, a coffee shop, and even its own ruined monastery. There are great walks around the Village, where you can find an ancient tomb, a monument, and lots of fields of horses and cows. We are a fairly rural area, which can mean peaceful & , tranquil, with a slower, less hectic pace of life, where relaxing is easy, and sitting out, enjoying the sunshine and looking out at the mountains can refresh the mind and lighten the mood, sending you home, mellow and alive to the beauty of the surrounding area, wherever you might go from here.
