Open plan living, dining and kitchen with underfloor heated stone floors. Both bedrooms are en suite shower rooms with heated towel rails and the property has beautiful original stone walls and exposed beams. Stunning views and a private out door patio make it a very special little retreat. On site, there is a games room, drying room, safe cycle storage and picnic/bbq area. Guests can enjoy fresh farm eggs and milk delivered to their doorstep each morning. Ideal for a family or small group of up to 4 people. In particular, the double room has wonderful views of Magpie mine, and you may also be lucky enough to see some of our wonderful sunsets, which can be particularly stunning in the winter months as the red glow shines through the silhouette of trees in our woodland. The open-plan ground floor is flooded with light from the large glazed opening which leads to your private patio area. Perfect Stay

Fantastic, top quality cottages, peaceful site with wonderful views and friendly animals on the farm.

About the neighbourhood
Manor House Farm Cottages is just 3 miles from Bakewell, a small popular market town famous for Bakewell Pudding and in the Peak District National Park. Chatsworth House is only 10 minutes away by car and Haddon Hall only 15 minutes. The spa town of Buxton with it's famous opera house is just 15 minutes away and Matlock Bath with the Heights of Abraham, cable cars and caves, only 25 minutes. Located in the National Park, there is stunning scenery, tonnes of amazing walking and safe off- road cycling tracks. Bikes can be hired along 2 traffic free trails locally and we offer safe cycle storage if you wish to bring your own bikes.
Getting around
Getting to us really requires a car but once here, why not leave the car on site and walk one of the many beautiful walks directly from your door. Alternatively, bring your bike as safe storage, bike washing a tool station is available or hire one when you get here. There are bike hire centres just minutes away and miles of traffic free cycle paths waiting to be enjoyed.
