A remote and relaxing hideaway set high on the Sussex Weald, The Well House is a wonderful retreat for two. Presented to a high standard, the living space is cosy and welcoming, with the benefit of a woodburning stove. The double bedroom is on a mezzanine level, accessed via a wooden ladder, so worth bearing in mind for those with restricted mobility. A charge of £25.00 per stay or per week, whichever is shorter, will be made for each dog (guide dogs for the blind and registered assistance dogs excepted). Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog with you. This property will accept a maximum of two dogs. Advertised as a tranquil and peaceful retreat suitable for writers and artistes was very misleading. Music noise after midnight on several nights, go-kart racing up and down the lane next to the property with very offensive language, people screaming and shouting at 5.30am. If that's...More
