We love to travel as much as possible, exploring new and exciting places. We love just 5 minutes away and are happy to help in any way. We're passionate about the outdoors and I'm currently working towards my Mountain Leader qualification. I'm more than happy to give advice on walking routes during your stay and in the near future will be offering guided walks around Snowdonia.
Upon arrival we are equally happy to meet you at the property or we will send you a combination to access the key safe if your arrival is undetermined.
During your stay we'll only be a phone call or a short walk away if you should require assistance in any way.
Lovely friendly village and a perfect base for all our trips out to the beautiful places in the area. The cottage is finished to a high standard and had everything we needed, and more. It felt like home. We will definitely be visiting again!

About the neighbourhood
Llanllechid is a small quarry village with its own pub and shop for your essentials and a playground for kids. Just 2.5 miles from Zip World and with the mountains on your doorstep.
You are close enough to access Bethesda by foot. There you will find plenty of pubs, takeaways, larger shops, cafes and Neuadd Ogwen, where you can see gigs, films or visit the local produce market.
This area is blessed with mountains, lakes and beaches. There are mountain walks on your doorstep and you're only a 20 minute journey from Llanberis and the paths up Snowdon. The towns of Betws y Coed, Caernarfon and llanfairfechan are only 20 minutes away by car. Travel a little further and you can access.
The major train station is located in Bangor, just 6 miles away. There are frequent buses from here to the village, with the bus stop located a short walk from the cottage, next to the pub. There are good cycle paths located in the area which can take you in the direction of Capel Curig, Porthmadog, along the North Wales coastline and beyond.
How to get there
Airport: Liverpool: 140.0 km
Railway: Bangor: 11.0 km
Ferry: Holyhead: 41.0 km
Less than 10 minutes off the A55 dual carriageway. Come off at junction 11 and take the A5 towards Bethesda. Just before Bethesda you will reach a crossroads, turn left here, up the hill towards Llanllechid. As you come to the centre of the village you will see a junction on your left with the Royal Oak pub ahead of you. Take the small lane up the right hand side of the pub, the the property you will be staying at is around 200 yards on your right, slightly higher up then the chapel.
