Opened as a holiday cottage after a full renovation in Spring 2016, Nyth Bran is a delightful yet traditional stone cottage, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Southerndown in the unspoilt Vale of Glamorgan. About the neighbourhood
The Glamorgan Heritage Coast and Coastal path is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The 14 mile Coastal Path forms part of the Wales Coast Path, a world first for a country to have a public footpath along its entire coast. Its wildlife and features are dramatic whilst the red limestone and shale cliffs are embedded with fossils exposed by the tides. The area's glorious beaches offer wide open sandy stretches alongside rugged pools; great for surfing, kayaking, swimming and exploring and horse riding. Further afield, Cardiff and Swansea offer all that modern cities boast. Both located along the coast, Cardiff, the Capital of wales, is one of the finest shopping and leisure destinations in the UK. From events at the Principality Millennium Stadium Stadium, its historic castle or vibra...
Getting around
Most guests arrive by car, but the is an hourly bus service from practically outside the cottage (opposite the Pub) that runs between Bridgend and Llantwit Major. Both connect to Cardiff and further afield by rail. Cardiff Wales Airport is some 15 miles away.
