SEA VIEW: looking out across The Firth of Forth Estuary towards Edinburgh & the Lammermuir Hills. No need to stand just sit in the armchairs and watch. DAYDREAM: You can put your feet up and use your laptop, look at the TV or just watch the random movement of shipping and the local fisherman out on their boats, the ever changing weather- good or bad! WALKS: Out of the flat into the old village, down to the beach, through the old harbour into a woodland park (with amenities for children) along to Ravenscraig Castle then, if you like, return to the flat via a different route. Etc OUTLANDER: The old Harbour, where filming took place last year, is now a scene from the current series. I think they did a remarkable transformation and re-created it to resemble Le-Havre in France during 1800's....SEA VIEW: looking out across The Firth of Forth Estuary towards Edinburgh & the Lammermuir Hills. About the neighbourhood
Dysart is a harbour town which dates back to the 1700s and more recently was used as a filming location for Outlander
Getting around
I would recommend a car, however there are plenty of buses around.
