Interaction with Guests: I am always at the disposal of my guests for any information they need during their holiday regarding the house as well as the surrounding area. The Neighborhood: The apartment is located in a quiet newly built neighborhood of the city, surrounded by gardens, olive groves and orange groves with unlimited view of the mountain and the sea. Next to mini / market, bakery, local shops for your daily shopping and traditional taverns for your evening out. A large super market is 1 km away. Close to the beach (1km), the city center (2.8km), and the university (2km). Among others, places worth visiting in Kalamata are the historic city center with its alleys (2,8km) and the 5 museums located there, the open railway museum/park (2,6km), the Frankish castle (2,9km) as well as the large pedestrian street next to the beach where you will find the town's seafront fish taverns and cafes. On short trips, you may enjoy the nearby beaches of Almyros (4,3km), Mikri Mantinia (7km), Santovas (10km), the picturesque harbor of Kitries (13km). For daily trips we would propose the archaeological site of Ancient Messina (28km), the unique picturesque villages of Mani such as Kardamili (34km) and cosmopolitan Stoupa with its beautiful beaches, as well as the beautiful towns of Koroni (56km), Methoni (65km) and Pylos (55km) with their medieval castles and their beautiful beaches, Gialova wetland and the awarded beach of Voidokilia (60km). Getting Around: Very close (300m) there is a bus stop to visit all the sights of the city. Taxi is also an affordable way of travel. Kalamata International Airport is 10km away. Athens is about 2.5 hours away using the new highway.
