Holiday Rental House
A 19th century building, restored and adapted for holidays, which for its wonderful situation, based on an islet off the coast where we only came across through a wooden bridge, served as a warehouse for wine casks, which were afterwards transported by sea in a time when paths between settlements were made by foot. At your service there are two floors, at the top you have 2 double bedrooms in mezzanine with magnificent views, and toilet, underneath you have the social areas in an open space, a cozy living room, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a kitchen island. The house is in a public and majestic dock so be advise that there is no private backyard. Seixal is a village in the municipality of Porto Moniz, characterized by breathtaking landscapes and excellent microclimates, which makes agriculture and fishing its main activities. It has various tourist attractions, including, natural pools, beaches, varied water falls (being the “Bride's Veil”, one of the most famous of the island), levada walks and on top the beautiful Laurissilva National Park declared world heritage by UNESCO. There are restaurants, bars, some local commerce and also the privileged possibility of buying in the same dock delicious fishes directly from the fishermen newly arrived from the sea.
