There are many cycling and hiking routes to, for example, the impressive mountain "Mont Ventoux" and "Les dentelles de Montmirail". Mont Ventoux is probably the most famous cycling mountain for many after Alpe d'Huez. Besides the cycling routes, there are also beautiful hiking possibilities. Want to find out more about the culture? The famous historical towns of Avignon and Orange are within a 25 km range. The antique town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, also called the Venice of France, is also well worth a visit, as is the town of Vaison-la-Romaine, with several restaurants, many squares, refreshing fountains, a medieval castle and shopping streets. It is one of the 'plus Beaux Détours de France'. This town has an abundance of extraordinary archaeological finds. Get inspired in this beautiful area of Beaumes-de-Venise!
