The Snug at Corry Cottage is an annex to a 17th Century Northumbrian Cottage set in the small peaceful and picturesque hamlet of Redpath situated between the town of Haltwhistle and Greenhead. The Snug is self-contained with own private entrance from the garden and consists of a bedroom with king sized bed, seating area, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a separate en-suite shower room/toilet. Small well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement at no extra charge with bed and bowls provided. Use of barbeque and outside seating area is available to guests along with off road parking for one vehicle with excellent transport links close by. We are within easy travelling distance of Hadrian’s Wall and its many attractions, The Sill Visitor Centre, Housesteads, Vindolanda and Roman Army Museum. Other local attractions are Haltwhistle (Centre of Britain) with its open air swimming pools and shops, Thirlwall Castle and Featherstone Castle and the newly extended South Tyne Steam Railway. Kielder Forest and Water, Newcastle upon Tyne, Carlisle, Lake District, Gretna Green and Northumbrian coast are also all within easy reach. The accommodation is snug but very nice and well thought out. The addition of the conservatory is fabulous. The breakfast surpassed its recommendations and the hosts are fonts of all knowledge local and afar......we enjoyed, the dogs enjoyed and would highly recommend

A lovely quiet spot just tucked off the A69 , close to Haltwhistle. Janet & Ged the owners are friendly & have a mine full of information about the area . The room was spotless & there were lots of little luxuries in the room....More

It was an over-nighter for me. This is a beautiful location, delightful & helpful hosts, spotlessly clean room, fairly ordinary room and facilities - TV was sporadic. The breakfast was excellent. Position is perfect too just off the A69. Close to good eating places/pubs. Strongly...More
