Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

We stayed for a week with our 2 children (ages 12 and 8) and absolutely loved the house and location. Although we didn't have a totally unspoiled view of the Blasket Islands, we could always see something of them from the house - some amazing sunsets too! 2 minute walk to the local pub, which is nothing special, however it is just nice to be able to go for a beer in the evenings. The house is located close to all the amazing places to visit and see along the Slea Head drive - stunning views and beaches and great walks. The Blasket Centre is really worth a visit and just around the corner. Dunquin Harbour is beautiful and just a short drive away - great trip to Great Blasket Island from here. The house has a great layout and is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is wonderful and I ended up cooking more than I usually would but found it very relaxing and almost theraputic because of the facilities and the closeness to the gorgeous sun room area of the house. Great garden for the kids to play in and lots of games for them in the house. All the rooms are en-suite and spacious. We loved the cosy living area and really felt at home. The outdoor seating area is lovely too - we were lucky to have some beautiful weather and sunshine. Margaret gave us a great welcome and we knew we could have contacted her if necessary - but we really didn't need to as all our needs were catered for.

Great location (Dunquin) away from the stress of Dingle, yet that's only a 15min drive away. Central to all the best beaches, walks and scenery. Launching pad for the Blaskets Islands. The house has absolutely everything you need, is spacious and has plenty of outside space also. 2 minutes walk to Krugers pub and also a café nearby. For eating out / food basics, you would need to drive to Ventry or Ballyferriter. Both are only a 5-10 minutes drive. Would highly recommend. We had initially been in June and liked it so much, we came back for another week in July. And we'll be back again in 2019. Thanks to our host Margaret. Hassle free booking from start to finish.

We traveled to visit family in the area & spent over a week in this lovely home. House accommodated 8 of us (three generations) beautifully, we all felt like we had plenty of space. The house is very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We cooked in most nights & kitchen had what we needed. Margaret is kind, welcoming, and responsive. Fabulous views and sunsets. Quiet peaceful area, plenty of walking options right out the door. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! We felt right at home. We hope to return again! Thank you Margaret!

Margaret has a beautiful and comfortable home. We really enjoyed staying there. The kitchen is great for cooking with plenty of space and amenities. The location is very quiet with nice walks right out the door. There is nothing bad to say about her home. We'd happily stay there again.

This house is amazing, not only is luminous, is also big and it's fully equipped, which really makes you feel at home during your stay. The views are stunning, sunsets from the house are gorgeous and it is located nearby beautiful walks and hiking spots, as well as on a driving distance from lots of points worth visiting on the Dingle Peninsula. Margaret, the owner, is really sweet and helpful, and overall I had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. House worked out perfectly. Star Wars fans in the family were very happy to visit shooting locations at Skellig Michael and Ceann Sibeal. Trips to the Blaskets and the Blaskets Visitor Centre are a must and good food options in Ballyferriter and at Paudie O'Se's pub.

The views from the house are fabulous - the wild hills, sea and islands. Great walks, scenery and beaches. The house has lovely areas to either socialise or relax with one of the varied selection of books. The bedrooms are spacious, nicely decorated and all have their own en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area are very well equipped. We will return again!!

Hi Eithne, Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted to hear you experimented with cooking with guiness and seaweed. There is a local young man here who does full day courses on seaweed foraging and cooking. I would highly recommend it if you do return again. regards Margaret
