About the neighbourhood
The property is located in the north of the fisherman village of Matemwe. In a very quiet and relaxing area. 5 min walk from a nice creek, 15 min walk from the fish market and the main beach of Matemwe and restaurants.
The best way to visit Zanzibar is to rent a car. Taxis are quite expensive and local public transport is not easy when you don t know the island.
To rent a car costs 30 USD per day. To drive here you need a document from Police. Before you arrive, I just need a scan of driver passport and scan of driving license (no need for an international driving license) to get this document prior to your arrival.
How to get there
At the end of the tarmac road, you will have to turn left and follow kasha boutique and asilia signs.
The property is located on the left hand side behind asilia and before kasha boutique.
Buildings are built with local materials, coral blocks and makuti roof (palm leaves).
