Cathy and John Beech welcome you to Beech Grove Apartment which is brand new, superbly fitted and furnished to a high specification. We live above the property and are on site all summer to assist as necessary. The accommodation is situated near the beautiful fishing village of Sissi and the lively town of Malia. They both have many tavernas and supermarkets and Malia hosts local nightlife attracting younger people.
The apartment is in a rural setting which is wonderfully peaceful and restful. It is newly completed on the ground floor of a modern house which is occupied by an English couple during the summer months. The use of a car is advisable.

Bookings will be taken for a minimum of 1 week for this twin/double bed apartment. The prices quoted are for the apartment per week for 2 or 3 people.

My girlfriend and I lived here for one week. It’s a nice little flat with everything you need. A few minutes walk and you have a beautiful view on the mountains and the sea. If you have transport the location is perfect. 5 minutes to drive to a nearby beach which isn’t crowded, and 10 minutes to Malia from where...

Well located, fully equipped apartment. Just far enough away from the busy areas. Couple upstairs who are minding the place were very helpful and welcoming. A vehicle rental is essential as its 5-10 mins drive to nearest village. We did enjoy our stay but unfortunately the noise of the neighbours dogs barking did ruin the peace and tranquility that we...

Sorry you were disturbed. I know they can be noisy and I have spoken to the neighbour but this is the first complaint I have had, and there is little I can do to improve the matter. They are noisier at some times more than others and \I regret you were disturbed.

About the neighbourhood
Pyrgos, Sissi is situated on the northeast coast of the island, near the larger resort of Malia, and 40km from Heraklion - the capital and airport destination. It is a small largely unspoilt fishing village with beach, shops and tavernas. The harbour is the focal point of the village and is used for fishing and tourist boats. By its nature, Sissi is suitable for a quiet, restful holiday in the sun.

There is easy access to the east/west E75 road which runs along the whole length of the island and is strategically placed for touring. A car is necessary in this small rural location and there are many places to visit around the village. All of the towns mentioned above are within an hours drive.
