Duplex penthouse in centre of Zell am See (50m to pedestrian zone).1075 square foot (100 square metre) apartment and 30 square metre balcony with superb mountain and lake views.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of €500 is payable to the owner 3 weeks prior to arrival. If less than 3 weeks to your arrival date, it is payable immediately after booking. Payment will generally be made by bank transfer or other method convenient to both the guest and the owner. Assuming everything is OK, the deposit will be refunded in full within 7 days of departure.

Fantastic
We had an amazing stay at Apartment O’Hara. Lovely and warm with everything you need in the kitchen, comfy couches to relax after a full days skiing. There is a ski store for storing all the necessary bits. Just a few minutes walk from City Express -couldn’t be better. Minutes from the shop and town centre. Zell is super nice with lots of lovely restaurants and bars. I can’t express how good our stay was Michael is really helpful and responds promptly to any queries. Book with confidence.

Superb location, wonderful spacious apartment with everything you need.
3 friends and I stayed at apartment O’Hara between Feb and March 2023. As a group we adore skiing, and are typically always first up and last down everyday, so always look for something close by a lift. This apartment is certainly that. The beauty of it is that it is almost equidistant between two lifts! You can use the City xpress first thing to beat the crowds to get up top, and then at closing can use the piste less travelled and come down on the southern edge and end up at the ebenbergbhan lift. This piste is almost entirely empty with good piste conditions at that time of day.
The apartment is located right by the bus stop that can take you into Kaprun if fancy a change or some more challenging off piste lines. Download the Scotty App if you want to travel by bus to any of the other resorts. It’s superior to the London travel apps!
The apartment itself is spacious, with lots of storage for clothing and bags. The panoramic view from the upper floor (kitchen and living area) of the mountain one side and lake the other is a wonderful way to get set up for the day. The appliances are all in good working order and you have all the items you need to cook if you need. Both showers are very powerful, needed for the calves after a day of skiing. Too much information but having a separate toilet is also a great advantage for those rushed mornings when you are rotating in and out of showers if larger than a group of 2.
The apartment also has a ski locker on the ground floor with a heated boot rack which removes the need to take the boots upstairs overnight. This was a particular advantage as we typically went straight from the locker to some of the bars in town for some Colaweizen or Gluhwein. The locker is large and secure. The reason I am saying this is I brought 2 sets of skis and boots and feel a lot better when I read a review knowing that someone else who does the same says a locker is secure and they are comfortable leaving their gear in there. The locker is exclusively for the apartment O’Hara.
The apartment is nearby all the restaurants, bars and supermarkets (5min walk). It also has a parking space which we did not use as we didn’t bring a car.
Great week skiing, good eating and drinking with friends I only now get to see once or twice a year at best. I was sad to leave.

A Very Nice Place in a Great Location
This is an excellent apartment in the heart of Zell am See, very close to the shops and the nightlife. It's also only a short walk to the City Express lift and the bus station from where the ski buses depart.
The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and handled seven of us very easily. A nice bonus was that we were allowed to leave our suitcases for a couple of hours in the locker room after checkout which allowed us to make the most of our last morning in Zell am See before our transfer to the airport.
Would definitely book again.

Beautiful Apartment in Zell am See
We stayed at Aparment O Hara for 4 nights for the Ironman Zell am See triathlon.... Beautiful 2 level, spacious apartment with stunning views. Location is perfect, close to restaurants, the station, cablecars, shops and a 3 minute walk to lake Zell.
The apartment has everything you need and is immaculate.
Would highly recommend this apartment and we will definetly stay there again.
Thank you to our host Michael who made sure everything was perfect.

Very good apartment close to the city center
The apartment is nice and spacious. The location is excellent, close to the city center, shops, tourist info, as well as within walking distance (about 10 min) of ski lifts. The parking place is very useful (2.15m max. height, fits tightly if you have a ski box on the car roof), and so is the storage space for skis and boots. The kitchen has about everything you need to prepare your meals.
The communication with the owner was excellent.

Comfortable apartment in excellent location
Really nice apartment in a particularly attractive location which is both in the town centre and very close to the lake and a cable car to the mountains. There is a parking place so you can drive there, but once you have arrived you can walk to the lake and to the railway station in just a couple of minutes and to the bus station in five. Unlimited public transport is included in your rental, so there is no pressing need to use the car for most of the many attractions in the region. Cafes and restaurants are right on your doorstep, lake and mountains in view from the balcony, so all in all it is one of the best locations you could think of. The apartment itself is clean and well-equipped, and the local manager is very friendly. All in all we thought it was great!

Luxury appartment, well equipped, well maintained at great location
This appartment is truly wel maintained, clean, quite spacious, well equipped for 8 persons and at a perfect location. Near the city center (< 200 meters), near the ski slopes (<500 meters), near the lake (<400 meters). Private parking lot. Communication with owner is very clear and accomodating.

About the neighbourhood
Zell is a vibrant town with good night-life, concerts, restaurants. There are two 18 hole championship golf courses just five minutes away by car or 10 minutes by bus.
“Don't waste time trying anywhere else” - Your second home is wonderful. Everything we expected (and hoped for). We loved the place. It is very comfortable, spacious and clean. A real home from home. The views are great . Everything is within easy walking distance, and, having a car parking space at the property, getting anywhere was simple. We wished we had stayed for two weeks. Will we come back to Zell? Without a doubt. Where will we stay? There's only one place, and that's Apartment O'Hara. Michael, thanks for all your help, we had a great time.

“Amazing views” - Many thanks. We had a fabulous time. The apartment was excellent in everyway. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in visiting that neck of the woods. Our whole trip and holiday was perfect. When I saw the views of both the frozen lake and the snow filled mountains with the gondolas moving up and down I was mesmerized. The Apartment was lovely, probably the best holiday I have had to date. The skiing conditions were perfect and the location of the apartment was a bonus as we didn't have to travel far for anything. We had a great holiday. The apartment is in a very good location. Upstairs is very tastefully finished and it was a pleasure to spend time during the day & evening in it. Thanks once again.

“Lovely” - Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Zell am See. The unit is well maintained & decorated. We enjoyed all the amenities that were available. Klaus, the property manager was very easy to work with & professional. He was also very responsive to our needs. We’d definitely recommend this place if you are vacationing in the area especially if you are traveling with a group of people
“The Perfect Stay” - There was eight of us travelled over to Zell Am See for a week’s holiday in January 2011. We have been to Zell Am See before but never had stayed in Apartment O'Hara. Everything was top class, from the central location to the breathtaking views over the lake and mountain from the main living area!
"Best rental in Austria, so far" - I stayed in this apartment along with 6 friends - aged 30-34. It has 3 bedrooms on the lower floor and one big living room/kitchen in the upper one. It was very clean and comfortable - and is fully equipped with modern appliances. Free WI-FI. The living room has awesome views both to the ski slopes and to the lake.
