About the neighbourhood
Perched on a steep bluff, Mahi Oli'Oli enjoys unobstructed OCEAN VIEW stretching nearly 180 degrees. So much sky and space for you in tranquil, private setting. The area, zoned for agriculture, has large parcel sizes (6-20 acres) therefore density is low. We cleared 3 acres for a lush, tropical garden and 3 acres are virgin rainforest. Listen to the nightly symphony of crickets, frogs, rumbling surf and 1,000,000 raindrops sounding on leaves of many sizes and shapes. Off-grid, our Photovoltaic system provides 'green' power because there are no telephone poles on our street. The Puna district is unspoiled, near Hilo yet remote in its pristine beauty.
