A beautifully renovated barn, set in peaceful woodlands about a 20-30 minute drive from Newcastle city centre. The barn has everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, wood burning stove with logs for chilly nights, and plenty of space. A nearby bus route means you don't have to drive into the city centre if you don't want to. Our first time...

Could not fault it. Owners were welcoming but not intrusive. The barn had everything that a family of 5 needed for the week. The log fire was lovely, backed up by a good central heating system. Lovely quiet location in easy reaching distance of Newcastle and Sunderland. Kitchen and utility really well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

Management response:

Hello and thank you for your excellent review of The Barn. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit to Northumberland and look forward welcoming you back to our lovely county soon. Best wishes, the Cottages in Northumberland team.

The Barn is a beautifully appointed cottage which was the perfect place to stay for our short break in the North East this summer. The cottage itself was spotless and equipped with everything you might need - a real home away from home. The location was idyllic - very quiet and ample opportunity for a relaxing stroll around the farm....

Management response:

Thank you for taking the time to review the lovely Barn. We are all so pleased that you enjoyed your holiday and exploring all that is on offer in the area. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Newcastle area in the future! Kind regards, Aimee Cottages in Northumberland
