Brandon, VT stay was a great base for visiting Killington, Woodstock and the southern scenic drive of 100. Be sure to visit the Cafe Provence when in Brandon. It was one of the best meals we had on our week long trip. The house was immaculate and it was so nice having the two bathrooms so we could both get...

Management response:

Thanks so much for the great review not only of our home but our beloved Brandon. We are lucky to have the Cafe; the chef offers cooking classes which other guests have enjoyed. Very glad you found us!!

Staying here for a few nights lifted our spirits from the moment we arrived. Kerrie and Russ made us feel like welcome friends at the outset, then quietly left us alone to thoroughly enjoy the sweet little oasis they've created, yet were super responsive to any questions or assistance we needed. It's been a few weeks now, but I'm still...

Management response:

Thank you very much Mary Beth and Bob for your thoughtful and complimentary review. As a former Bay Area resident, it was a special treat to host your stay. Once the holiday traffic memory fades, we hope you'll consider returning for more "in" time. We would truly enjoy seeing you both again. Cheers! Russ and Kerrie

About the neighbourhood
The neighborhood is located up a small hill from Route 7 which is the main thoroughfare through town. It is a quiet haven consisting of working families and retired folks. It feels like it is much further from downtown than it actually is...a five minute walk. We live steps from The Little House and enjoy the area for its beauty and wildlife.
Getting around
Walking is probably best for local sightseeing. You will need a car to get around to points north and south. Having said as much, a couple took the train up, cab to Brandon and used the local bus service to go to points north. They enjoyed their car free seven days.
