Torness Cottage has a 4 * tourist board rating and is a modern bungalow situated in a quiet lane in the upper part of Tobermory near the golf course. The cottage sleeps two. The bright spacious living room with patio windows looking out to the hills and the Sound of Mull. Please note that in summer, when trees are in full leaf, the view can be obscured.
The bedroom is a generous sized double bedroom. Roomy bathroom with shower. Large private garden with seating area.

Torness is on Erray Road and within easy walking distance of the famous Tobermory main street with its shops, restaurants, bank and post office. Note of caution... Tobermory is built on a hill so only shops etc and a few properties are on the front street. Most properties, including Torness, are 'up the hill'.

Tobermory is a lovely location for all the beautiful surrounding areas, it has a very busy harbour with lots of interesting sea traffic, ideal base for some amazing walking.

Location is nice, very private but no view and very steep walk back from town. Accommodation is spacious and very clean.

We spent a week in Torness cottage which was relaxing, quiet and well-placed for exploring Tobermory and the wider Isle of Mull. Ferry: Craignure: 25.0 km
If coming by train to Oban, you then take the Oban - Craignure ferry. Then take the bus to Tobermory. The house is about 600 metres from bus stop but up a hill. We suggest using the local taxi service when you have luggage (as opposed to backpacks). We can arrange this for you if you let us know when booking.
