Old School 11 luxury first-floor holiday apartment at The Highland Club at Loch Ness is probably the best location for couples and family holidays anywhere in the Highlands. Situated on the shores of Loch Ness, the apartment is part of a converted and restored historic abbey which was before that, a military fort built in 1729 by the English army as a garrison at the time of the Jacobite rebellion. The Apartment is just a few yards from the village of Fort Augustus, known locally as the 'Gateway to Loch Ness' as it is situated at the southern end of the lake, so is ideal for touring both sides of the loch.
