Franklin's View has a charming and cosy atmosphere befitting of a holiday cottage. The open plan living and dining area has a bright and airy feel which is encouraged by the large panoramic windows, looking over the rooftops to the Harbour and Scapa Flow. Franklin's View boasts its' own private and secluded garden with drying green and garden furniture (ideal for a BBQ or relaxing) Franklin's View sleeps four people in two cosy bedrooms one of which is a double and the other a twin each with cupboards and hanging storage. Great location and comfortable place

We enjoyed our stay but it was let down by the old fashioned bathroom and shower was barely warm which despite reporting was not fixed during our stay. Lack of hanging space in second bedroom. Otherwise great location and comfortable sitting room and very well...More

Perfect small get-away

Comfortable, convenient, even without a car

The house is well placed in the town with an interesting view over the rooftops to the harbor. Pleasant outside garden. Very comfortable for two or four people. Accessible to many sights by bus.

Great place to stay

Good location and accommodation

We found Franklyns view was light and airy with good sea views. Ideal to use as a base to explore Orkney. Very clean and well equipped. Owners were really helpful and friendly - can definitely recommend
