Lovely house with all mod cons

Lovely house with beautiful views just minutes from the sea and a short walk into town. Fully equipped kitchen and two modern bathrooms. The perfect base from which to explore the beautiful west coast of scotland.

Altogether a Home away from Home!-for us and the dogs!

This was our second visit to Cumbrae View House(we said we`d be back!) The house is lovely-everything needed is there-2 minutes from the beach,great walks,the dogs loved their holiday too! Looking forward to next time-says it all really!

About the neighbourhood
Located on the Firth of Clyde, Largs is a traditional charming Scottish seaside resort on the West Coast of Scotland, complete with Victorian promenade and a choice of ice cream parlours and shops. Close to Largs lies the Isle of Cumbrae, just a mile offshore. There is a regular ferry service to the island and the famous Waverley Paddle Steamer makes regular trips from Largs during the summer months. To south of the town, a stroll along the shoreline offers fine coastal views, leading past the striking Pencil Monument. Cumbrae View house is situated on a quiet residential street around 1 mile south of the town centre. in an elevated position one street back from the beach and promenade with open views across the Clyde Estuary.
Getting around
Cumbrae View house is 1 minute walk from the beach and promenade, around 1 minute walk from the main coastal road A78 where main bus services operate north to Greenock and south towards Irvine. The local town bus, operating hourly during the day, passes along the street giving direct connection to the town centre without the use of a car. The town centre and train station is around 1 mile from the house, with direct links to Glasgow. Shops, restaurants and pubs are mostly in the town centre, although the Haylie Hotel (<5 minute walk) and the marina (10 minutes walk) offer alternative facilities There is a convenience store 3-5 minute walk from the house (Haylie Stores) and the main supermarket (Morrison') is next to the station
