Australian couple - mid 60’s. The accommodation is a 3 storey building situated adjacent to the fishing boat pier in the small town of Roundstone. The view of the 12 Bens through the downstairs picture window is life changing. Words can not describe the beauty of this image which is indelibly seared into my memory. The view of Roundstone harbor and the 12 Bens is perfectly framed in the window. And the couch is perfectly positioned to sip tea and stare out at this view....

We stayed with our two daughters last week and enjoyed every minute. The house is cosy and excellently appointed. The highlight of the house is the spectacular views of the quay and mountains in the distance, the scenery changes every 30 minutes! In the Low Season, the weekend rate is €300 for 2 nights. A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required to confirm every booking. Full payment for the booking is required 30 days prior to arrival. A security deposit of €100 is required upon final payment which is returned within 7 days of departure minus utilities. Electricity and Heating Oil are metered and charged at the end of the week. Electricity is normally €20 per week. Heating Oil, if used, normally costs €15-€40 per week. If you have any special requests which will make your stay more comfortable please do not hesitate to let us know before you arrive.

About the neighbourhood
Roundstone village is one of the most sought after areas for holidaying in Connemara. During the summer months of July and August many regular visitors return to enjoy the incredible scenery, great village pubs, restaurants and local traditions. <BR><BR>The Roundstone Regatta takes place every July with traditional Galway Hookers and canvas currach oar racing. Traditional music is held on many nights during the week in the 6 village pubs, where some of the finest seafood is served, fresh from the harbour.<BR><BR>Hiking of the local mountain, Errisbeg, is possible right from the front door. Sea fishing as well as game fishing for Atlantic Salmon at Ballynahinch Castle can all be arranged through the owner.
