Old School House Annexe – Penwartha Coombe Come and stay at Old School House Annexe in Penwartha Coombe for a weekend get-a-way or a week’s stay in the Cornish countryside, there’s so much to do and we’re only 1.3 miles away from Perranporth beach. With over 2 miles of golden sand you can hire surf equipment from the local surf shops and have a go at riding the waves under the watchful eyes of the lifeguards or even take a beach hack on horseback with one of our local stables. Watch the sun-set over the horizon whilst enjoying a drink in the Watering Hole where food is served all day and also has live music in the evenings. The local country pub, The Bolingey Inn is only a 10 minute walk away, where they too serve food at lunch time and evenings with an extensive mouth-watering menu (if you have any dates in mind it might be worth booking in advance!). Travel down the Cornish coast and watch a play at the open-air Minack Theatre in breath taking Porthcurno or spend the day at St Ives, where exploring the little shops and restaurants along the cobbled streets awaits you. Enjoy staying in a well decorated and well equipped annexe for two (and baby; travel cot, highchair and baby cutlery and plates provided upon request), featuring a kitchen-diner with microwave oven, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob and fan oven, a lounge with television, Wi-Fi and DVD player, double bedroom with shower ensuite, and conservatory. Bedding and bath towels are provided and a welcome hamper awaits you upon your arrival.More
