We fell in love with this charming cottage the moment we saw it and we spend as much time there as we can. It's cosy and inviting in the winter, and cool and calm in the summer. There's a large garden, with terraces for sitting in the sun for a BBQ, fruit trees and lambs in the field behind. Millbrook is a wonderful village, full of life with 3 great pubs, a fruit and veg shop, 2 supermarkets, and the best fish& chip shop for miles around. There are lots of interesting walks along the lake, across the hills, over to the beach or even to the passenger ferry at Cremyl. Kingsand and Cawsand are 5 mins drive away and the perfect beaches of Whitsand Bay are only a few moments drive. There's a smart TV and fast wifi (which extends right through the house). The kitchen is bright and open, and it's really well equipped with a dishwasher, a table that seats 6-8 comfortably (we've squeezed 10 around it!) a 6 burner cooker, double oven and a large fridge freezer. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, with brand new beds, each fitted out with lamps, storage and bedside table. These have extensive views of the valleys and hills. There's also a cute twin room with 2 single beds and view on to the garden. There's a family bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. On the top floor there's an ensuite bathroom. More

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed toasting ourselves in front the fire and exploring the beautiful countryside. The cottage had plenty of space for the six of us. We’ll be visiting again.

We stayed in Jeremy and Gaby's really beautiful cottage for four nights earlier this year. Truly amazing garden, excellent kitchen, cosy fire and comfortable bedrooms. It was the perfect base for exploring the countryside, lovely walks, beach, pubs and village shops.

About the neighbourhood
The Rame Peninsula is known as Cornwall's Forgotten Corner - it's stunningly beautiful with amazing beaches and pretty villages but un-spoilt and un-crowded. There are wonderful walks, charming pubs and lovely villages to explore. If you want some city life, the vibrant coastal city of Plymouth is just a few minutes ferry ride away.
Getting around
Getting to Millbrook is easy. You can come by train to St Germans and then it's a 10 min taxi ride away. Driving is easy - either via the Torpoint Ferry from Plymouth or across the Tamar Bridge. If you feel like a pedestrian approach, get the train to Plymouth and then stroll to the Cremyl Ferry and walk round to Millbrook.
