The property including the owner property is surrounded by fields with a view to the Wrekin Hill. The cottage is located equidistant from the medieval town of Much Wenlock and the historic town of Ironbridge famous for its links to the industrial revolution and of course the first iron bridge erected in 1779 as well as 8 easy to get to museums. The kitchen h as all the utensils that you will need and you will find a separate fridge and side by side freezer along with an easy to use washing machine and dishwasher with all of the tablets provided. There is of course an oven and hot plates as well as a microwave. the cottage may be old but the facilities are modern and spotlessly clean. The living room has a wood burning stove to supplement the modern central heating. The bathroom has a modern shower but if you prefer to bathe a roll top iron bath awaits. The bathroom is downstairs A bedroom at the rear of the property( new extension) overlooks field and the well kept garden. The larger front bedroom has a double bed and a single. Beds are separated as if there are 2 bedrooms. Thi.s room has a modern stylish wash basin. The garden has a large BBQ area created from a ruined outbuilding. Please note there are steps as it is a terraced garden and if you have walking difficulties it is advisable to contact the owner who can explain an alternative route to the cottageMore

There are not many properties as it is a farming area. It is very convenient for the published local attractions including National trust and Heritage sites. The best walking and cycling places are very near but not directly from the cottage The museums of Ironbridge are a must to visit
