Interaction with guests
Upon booking we email a sheet of 'Additional Information' that lists suggestions from things to do to places to eat. We greet every guest personally and show them around their property and give them an induction of how the pool works. Someone is usually on site should there be any questions during your stay but we aim to leave you to enjoy the cottage, facilities and idyllic surroundings in peace.

Words and pictures can not do Kingham cottages justice despite how lovely the pictures look. This is a place you have to witness for yourself. The cottages are lovely, warm and welcoming. Chris and his wife have literally thought of every small detail to make...More

We were 15 spread through two adjoining cottages and one apartment (very close)_. All the accommodation was furnished to a very high level and fully equipped. A beautiful 4 acre garden was accessible to us, as was a tennis court and a superb indoor swimming...More

About the neighbourhood
Kingham is a quiet village, not part of the tourist trail but with interesting architectural features and blessed with fabulous location. Within the village is the Michelin-starred 'Wild Rabbit' and the outstanding 'Kingham Plough' for serious gastronomic experiences, roaring fires and a smart pub experience. Also within walking distance is 'The Mill House', easier on the wallet and serving good pub food it's where the village go! A mile up the road is the world-renowned Daylesford Spa, organic farm shop and restaurant. A mind blowing and wallet-lightening experience that has to be seen to be believed!
Getting around
Kingham is a rural village and as such a car is recommended.

However, Kingham train station has an excellent service on the London / Hereford line and most trains are met by a bus that drops people in the middle of Kingham village.

There is a bus service that travels to the local market town of Chipping Norton and from there buses to further afield can be met.
Access
Car advised
How to get there
Airport: Birmingham International Airport: 78.0 km
Railway: Kingham Station: 2.1 km
Kingham Train Station is just outside the village of Kingham – either a 15-minute walk or 4-minute taxi or bus ride from Kingham Cottages.

If you are travelling by car, please enter OX7 6YL into your SatNav or Route Planner and you are looking for West End in Kingham. If it insists on needing a house number, use number 11, which is opposite Kingham Lodge.

West Street turns into West End at a tree in the middle of the road without any grass round the tree. For Lodge Cottage keep left of the tree and carry on in a straight line, up the left of Kingham Lodge, to a private gravel courtyard behind. Lodge Cottage is on the right, please park parallel to the planted border.
