We have just stayed here for a 2 week holiday and have loved the cottage. It's a short walk to lyndhurst and easy access to the rest of the New Forest. Lots of character and atmosphere!

About the neighbourhood
The magnificent cedars of Ornamental Drive, Exbury Gardens with its exquisite display of azaleas and rhododendrons, Beaulieu';s world famous National Motor Museum, Owl and Otter Farm at Ashurst, Paulton Amusement Park at Ower, seaside town of Lymington with its Saturday market and ferry to the Isle of Wight. The historic cities of Winchester and Portsmouth are all within easy driving distance and Stonehenge a day's outing, shopping at West Quay in nearby Southampton or Bournemouth.
How to get there
From M27 Take the Emery Down exit, drive through the Forest, bear left in front of the New Forest Inn, over the hill. The cottage is the second one on your left after the cattle grid, opposite Swan Green. Alternatively from M27 Take the Cadnam Exit 1 and at the roundabout take first exit left. At the next roundabout take the third exit to Lyndhurst on Romsey Road. At the lights in Lyndhurst turn left onto High Street then right into Gosport Street. Keep right around the one way system then left onto the A35 (one way system through Lyndhurst), the cottage is 300 metres on road bearing off to your right, opposite The Swan pub.
