Overview
Shepherds hut -
1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
East Grinstead, West Sussex, England
Compass Corner Shepherds Hut is nestled in the Sussex countryside at Yew Tree Barn in Worth near Turners Hill. The hut itself is a traditional, converted by design shepherding hut which sleeps two comfortably, located on an idyllic piece of pastureland. We are bordered by Compasses Wood and close to Hundred Acres Wood with a beautiful vista which is frequented by a variety of British wildlife and beautiful sunrises. An ideal location to visit local attractions and places of interest nearby or explore the surrounding woodland.

The shepherds hut also overlooks the restored Yew Tree Barn, originally built in 1827 as a hay barn and cattle hovel. Now lovingly restored with an oak frame and far more comfortable than it's intended use by your hosts Mark and Sue who have resided here since 2005.

A lovely gem of a place. We only had one night here late arrival and left early but we made the most of our stay. What a beautiful plot, the hut itself is spotless and very cute, great to have a DVD player the bed very cosy and comfy, the little unique touches are fab especially the homemade lemon drizzle cake....

We had a 1 night stay at Compass Corner and couldn't have been happier. The hut is BEAUTIFUL as is the location. The photos don't do it justice. Best mini break we've had due to the gorgeous hut, amazing location, wonderful breakfast, thoughtful little touches and total relaxation. We LOVED it. Thank you! xx

Superb setting, beautifully equipped shepherds hut and a warm welcome. Breakfast delivered at requested time and it was delicious, as were the chocolate brownies which we discovered on our arrival. The only down side was having to walk to the toilet which was in the garage , not a problem until 3 o'clock in the morning. Would I stay again?...
