The Barn is a short distance from a footpath and stream which joins the Tissington Trail and conveniently connects to Carsington Water; offering our guests good walking and cycling opportunities from the holiday cottage. Waterside Barn is within driving distance of Bakewell, Buxton, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Carsington Water, Dovedale and Alton Towers.
Getting around
We would suggest travelling to and from Waterside Barn via car as the easiest mode of transport. However, if you wish to travel via train and then taxi/ bus to the property, we would suggest using the local buses and Ashbourne Taxis. Alternatively, if you have a larger party at The Waterside Barn, we would recommend hiring a coach from Warrington Coaches located in Thorpe to take you to and from Peak District attractions
