A riding school, quad bike rental, motor museum, aquarium, historic churches and stately home are all nearby, and it's a great base for easy access to the Lakes and west coast, with so many and varied things to do. Situated a mile north of Cartmel in the South Lakes Peninsulas of the Lake District in the Northwest of England, it is about 2 hours' drive from Manchester. 15 miles from the M6 motorway junction 36.
