Wonderful!
My husband, 2 daughters, and I spent a week in this beautiful cabin during our annual Thanksgiving vacation. We had an absolutely amazing time! The cabin is located in a great area. Not too far from stores, restaurants, and the most beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. We drove the 2 1/2 hours to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and also the 1 hour drive to Helen Georgia, its like a mini Gatlinburg. We did site seeing in Blairsville and Murphy. Then we would come back to the cabin and pile up in the living room in front of the fireplace and watch family Christmas movies. We really enjoyed waking up early and sitting on the deck with our coffee and watch the horses run back and forth. The cabin is fully stocked with most of the things you would need. But if you are missing something there is a Wal-Mart and an Ingles about 15mins up the road. The only complaint we had was the fold out sofa. The first night there we folded it out for our 13 year old to sleep on and noticed, when it sliced a pretty good gash in my leg while puting sheets on it, that it was broken and had been welded back together. So we didn't want it to break while she was sleeping and she get hurt so we went and bought an air mattress for her. She wasn't to happy about sleeping on that for 7 days, so her and her sister took turns each night with who got the bedroom and who got the air mattress. But with how lovely the cabin was that was not a big deal or a deal breaker. We will definitely be back to stay again!

It was Amazing!!!
My family and I loved this place, it was everything we thought it would be and more. The pictures don’t even do it justice. We’ll most definitely be back for another stay.

WONDERFUL STAY!
The location was perfect. Centralized to Ocoee, Murphy, and all things nature. Lillian was very informative on what there is to do around the cabin and the cabin itself is lovely! I took my 2 year old boy and he loved the fabulous deck and of course the gazebo with the pond while watching the horses! Everything you need for cooking is there and the house is just awesome. Thank you for everything! Will return!

The cabin was very dirty.
They need to update pictures. The internet was terrible. Need to add a few more peices of furniture to seat in. Could be nice with a few updates. Need to look into getting a new cleaning person.

I am not sure why this traveler decided that the cabin was "very dirty". We use the same housekeeper for the last 10 years and so far all our guests have been very happy. He did call to complain and we offered the service of our housekeeper; the lady was also curious to see what was so wrong and was ready to fix it. However, the guest declined telling it was not a big deal. So was it "very dirty" or not a big deal? He promptly emailed next day asking for a refund. The guest did ask for discounts before he rented and I explained that the winter rate was already a discounted rate. I guess that this was his way to finally get a discount, one way or the other. As to the pictures, they do reflect exactly what the cabin has inside. We haven't changed the inside decor or furniture whatsoever because our guests like it so much. What we added are the extra sitting chair and the sun shades in the living room. The outside will definitely look very different in the winter (the guest stayed in February) than it looked in the summer when the picture were taken. As to the extra furniture to sit on, the cabin has 6 chairs in the kitchen, the sofa and the sitting chair in the living room and 6 chairs outside. The guests had plenty of chairs to sit on, unless there were more than 4 people in their party. Also, if there was a problem with the internet, he should have alerted me. I'd have been more than happy to call the customer service or it probably just needed a modem reset.

We absolutely loved it!
We had a romantic time. The cabin was very nice and homey. We just wanted to spend time together and the cabin is everything it says it is. We fell in love with the area we will be back.

Perfect Getaway
Nestled nicely in the North Carolina mountains; this place was exactly as described and more! I loved how clean and quiet it was yet it was close to everything you need. My kids really enjoyed playing on the property whether it was on the gazebo or playing hide and seek in the yard. Liiana was always very quick to respond to any questions I had and even gave some recommendations of fun things to see and do near the cabin. Would certainty recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area! Hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful Cabin/ Perfect Location

Beautiful cabin at a great rate - we will go again!
We stayed here the 1st week of July after our original plans for the week fell through only a month earlier. Frankly, I wasn't expecting to find much for a popular week on short notice at a rate that wouldn't make me wince. But this cabin exceeded my wildest expectations! It is absolutely as gorgeous as the photos, and is easily accessible from the main road with none of those twisty, narrow mountain roads that take years off my life! Yet the property has been so thoughtfully landscaped that except for the occassional sound of a passing car, you'd never know you weren't in the middle of nowhere! There are plenty of outdoorsy things to do in the area, quite enough to keep my outdoorsy, never sit still husband happy for a week, and the cabin is a beautiful and comfortable place to hang out for those of us with less ambition! The internet is not superfast, but it kept a 17-, 18-, and 20-year old happy for a week with only a couple forays into Murphy to the Daily Grind for faster internet... The owner is very responsive - I emailed her with a question about the lockbox and got a response in less than half an hour. Highly recommend this cabin, and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely house close to so many wonderful little towns and natural attractions!
Beautiful house - very, very clean upon arrival! Downstairs bedroom was perfect for my two girls to share with a large bathroom. The upstairs bedroom suite was very quiet and peaceful with two french doors closing out the downstairs sounds. The upstairs bathroom was also very clean and nice. The downstairs den was very appealing with the large wall of windows to watch the beautiful backyard (saw many birds flying in and out of the tall trees). Very relaxing den. Comfy couch. My only tiny wish would have been to have a few more seating options in the den such as a comfy recliner or love seat. The outside backyard was beautiful and the deck was great when we grilled out one night. An extra propane of gas was already waiting! Liliana, the owner, was always helpful with questions via email. She truly has a beautiful home in Murphy! We fell in love with the town of Murphy as well as the surrounding towns of Hiawassee, Franklin, Sylva, and Blue Ridge. We stayed busy all week and were never bored. Here are some great things we did in the area: Riverwalk in Murphy; Lake Chatuge public swimming beach in Hiawassee, GA; Drive in Movies in Blue Ridge, GA; Drove the loop to Dillsboro and back; Drove to Highlands (great waterfalls and curvy roads :) ; visited Helen, GA; visited Field in the Woods; and most of these were free (except for the cost of fudge! LOL). Overall, it was the first time we had visited this area of the NC mountains and as usual everyone was very friendly everywhere we went!

The cabin was very beautiful, clean and inviting. My sisters and I had a great time.
My sisters and I wanted to spend some quality time with our sister who lives in Murphy. My sister, who lives in Murphy, lost her husband last year. The cabin was a perfect place. The cabin was well furnished with all that we needed. After stopping and buying some groceries, we enjoyed our time with each other. Great Sister Time.
