Holiday Rental House
The cottage,close to the border with Scotland,with magnificent uninterrupted views across farmland and the Northumberland National Park. Watch gliders soar over the Cheviots. Pub and farm shop in nearby village of Millfield or take a short drive to the lovely market town of Wooler offering eateries to sample local produce. The Cheviot Hills offer outstanding walking,the vistas are breath-taking and provide a delightful ‘get away from it all’ activity. A great destination to enjoy cycling,gliding,golf,horse riding and walking. Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle are about a 45 minute drive away and Alnwick Castle famous for the Harry Potter films and its spectacular gardens are also close by,Edinburgh is about an hours drive away. Venture through the front door into the entrance hall,kick off... Venture through the front door into the entrance hall,kick off those muddy boots and hang up your coats,head off to your left and you will find a cosy lounge where you can relax in front of the lovely wood burner and plan where you are going to explore the following day. Enjoy a meal together at the dining table or simply take a seat and admire the view. Leading off the lounge is the kitchen with electric oven and hob,dishwasher,washing machine,fridge/freezer and microwave. Venture back through to the hallway and you will find two beautifully furnished bedrooms one with a double bed and one with twin beds,views onto the garden and grazing horses in the adjacent paddocks. Also,off the hallway is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading outside you will find a pretty enclosed garden with a lawn,flower borders and a table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining with something delicious cooked on the charcoal BBQ. You may find a cheeky pony wondering over to say hello. To the side of the cottage there is a gravelled area to park up to three cars,wood and coal store and a bike storage area. More
