Overview
Holiday Rental House -
6 Bedrooms , 5 Bathrooms , Sleeps 12
Yarmouth Port, Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Comfortable, huge, and historic six-bedroom sea captain's estate on one of Cape Cod's most beautiful shore drives. Newly renovated, with a big landscaped backyard, it's the picture-perfect setting for family vacations, reunions, and retreats. We even provide the beach pass!

Our prime location on the quiet north shore is just a short walk (or beautiful bike ride) to multiple beaches, ponds, restaurants, cafes, shops, bakeries, galleries, bookstore, and the oldest family-run ice cream parlor in the United States. Many more beaches and ponds, swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, boating, fishing, crabbing, shellfishing, golfing, tennis, nature trails, whale watching, nature cruises, bird watching and more are just a short drive away.

Welcome to Green Gates, a bright and airy “Old Cape” home on the prestigious 'Captain...

We loved Green Gates' perfect location- Quiet, Historic and Comfortable on the Cape's North Shore. This large and accommodating home was excellently suited for our family gathering of 10 people. (When we were looking for rentals for our vacation and saw Green Gates, that was it - we wanted to stay there!) We were not disappointed. More than enough room...

Yesterday we returned from a weeks' stay at this gem of a home. There were eight adults and one child and we loved all of the comfortably appointed rooms, the fully stocked large kitchen, the wonderful huge dining room table, the patio with table/chairs and umbrella, the lawn games and the many bedrooms! Having a washer and dryer was a...

This is the ideal location to take in the breathtaking beauty of the Cape, and Green Gates itself generously accommodated our party of 10. The rental was so comfortable and stylishly equipped that we could easily have spent most of our time in the house and immediate grounds! Green Gates comprises the perfect balance of classic Victorian style, decor and...

About the neighbourhood
Walk or ride a bike to the village store, ice cream parlor, and cafes and restaurants frequented by locals. Just four minutes away by car is Gray's Beach, with its frequently photographed boardwalk — a perfect spot to watch the sunset or to enjoy a picnic (or both). Or stroll across the street to visit the Edward Gorey House or for outdoor yoga classes on the Yarmouth Port Green. Two-lane Route 6A rolls lazily through some of the oldest villages in America — to Provincetown in one direction and back through Barnstable Village to Sandwich in the other, with antique shops and art galleries to visit along the way.
