The Island House is located in a small gated community at the very end of quaint Perkins Cove. Originally built in 1850, this 5bdrm, 5bath, historic property is surrounded by award winning gardens, and was totally rebuilt in 2003 to include modern luxuries and amenities and has hardwood floor throughout. Every room in the house has picturesque ocean views, as well as garden and harbor views! The house welcomes guests in a generous foyer that leads to the spacious (14x37) living room, surrounded by magnificent windows and farmers' porches that fill it with light. The cottage style furniture is placed around the remote controlled gas-fired fireplace and comfortably seats ten people. More restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Easy drive to Outlet shopping in Kittery, ME! Also a short walk across the drawbridge to the Ogunquit Art Museum, a short ride to The Ogunquit Theatre. Beach and Water Activities: -Walk or take the trolley to the Ogunquit Beach! Kayaking - nearby. Surfing - available. Fishing- Charters Available. Sailing - Charters Available. At The House: Relaxing-Sitting on the porch with a book or a glass of wine, looking out at the ocean and the magnificent sunsets, while listening to the sound waves. Amazing house
