Great winter getaway!

We loved this cottage. Enjoyed the view, the hot tub, and sitting by the fire on a cold winter night! Soooo relaxing. We will definitely return.

Four Seasons Cabin at Edgewater Resort Vacation Community overlooks Taylorsville Lake Marina, where lunch can be had, or a boat rented for the day. The lake is perfect for a getaway of water skiing, fishing, or relaxing on a pontoon. There are many area restaurants, historic sites, wineries, and the bourbon trail. Near Louisville, KY, it is a perfect place to stay for the Derby, Louisville Slugger Museum, Louisville Zoo, Mega Cavern, and a fun nightlife! Or plan a day trip to Bardstown for history and see The Stephen Foster Story, an outdoor musical, or visit a plantation home or Civil War Museum. Located in the heart of Bourbon Country. There are 8 distilleries within a 70 mile radius.
Getting around
Resort amenities and Taylorsville Lake can be accessed by car, bike or by foot. Area restaurants, shopping and grocery stores are just a short drive away. There are tour companies available that cater to the Bourbon Trail (Mint Julip Tours and R&R Limousine), and Safe Rides such as Uber and Lyft that take to and from the distilleries.
