Fully furnished second floor of Carriage House located in the historic neighborhood of Cherokee Triangle. The original caretaker's fireplace mantel is still there after 116 years and so is the original wood floors. The hay loft was closed in about 1964 and the entire floor was renovated three years ago with new baths and kitchen. This unit has a private entrance that you access through a courtyard that may be used by tenants for barbeques and other outside gatherings. About the neighbourhood
For a beautiful scenic walk go four blocks to Cherokee Park or one block to the grounds of Cave Hill Cemetery or just wander the neighborhood. We are also only one block off Bardstown Road and Baxter Avenue that is filled with great restaurants and entertainment. The bus line is one block away and takes only a short ride until you are downtown Louisville where you can visit the Muhammad Ali Museum, The Frazier Museum and the Slugger Museum . If you bike, you can access a groomed bike trail down to the Ohio River and the rive front's restaurants and visit the Belle of Louisville steamboat.
Getting around
One block away from bus service but most in the neighborhood either walk to nearby attractions or call Lyft or Uber.
