About the neighbourhood
Hooting Lodge is a great base to explore The Ardnamurchan Peninsular, The Road to The Isles and Fort William. The ferry ports to The Isle of Mull, The Isle of Skye and The Small Isles are all within an hours drive of Mingarry Lodges. Castle Tioram, a romantic, historic ruined castle, is a 10 minutes drive away, though for the more adventurous, an hours walk away over wild and rugged moorland...

Other great local walks in the area include those to The Singing Sands, Smirisary, Ariundle Oakwoods National Nature Reserve and The Glenborrodale RSPB Nature Reserve.

Oh, and don't forget to visit The Glenfinnan Monument and take a trip on The Harry Potter Express over the viaduct from Fort William....
