Hello and welcome to SHADY REST! SHADY REST is in a perfect setting in downtown area of Hiawassee Georgia but is nestled in the mountains along beautiful Lake Chatuge. Spend your days on the large covered porch overlooking over 200 feet of water frontage, dining or for enjoying the great mountain view. The dock is ideal for docking your boat/jet ski or a rental boat but is also great for sunbathing, fishing or for just enjoying the beauty of the lake. Our home has just been completely remodeled inside and out. Sorry no pets are allowed. If we could, we would live on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake!

This small town nestled in the North Georgia mountains has a small town mentality that we believe you will enjoy. There is hardly any traffic and everything is a short drive away. .
