Follow to Appleby, pass Appleby and after 2 miles turn right into Crackenthorpe. The cottage is on the right behind 'Greenrose' cottage with two yew bushes out the front. North/South: Leave M6 motorway at junction 40, follow A66 (Scotch Corner/Brough) for approx 10 miles, turn left into Crackenthorpe. The cottage is after a row of barns on the left.
