The property is a beautiful newly upgraded-apartment, originally part of a large detached house. It has stunning sea views and lies just a few minutes walk from a sandy beach, town centre, play park and promenade. The property comes very well equipped, with a range of modern appliances and neutral décor. It's a true home from home. Its mostly suited to couples and families of 1-2 kids but can take a family of 5 as there is a childs fold away bedchair and plenty space for a travel cot in the bedroom or livi koo POP ng room
The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV that has Freeview and a DVD player - a smart now with Netflix. There is lounge seating for 5 and a round dinner table sitting at the bay window, overlooking the bay. The centre piece of the room is the traditional coal and log fire that can be used if desired,
In the kitchen we have a newly installed fan assisted oven, a ceramic electric hob and a fridge with a small freezer. There is also a kettle, toaster and washing machine for guests to make use of.
The master bedroom houses a double bed, wardrobe, side tableand a large bay window with a window seat with views out to the Isle of Arran, Bute and Mull of Kintyre.
The recently refurbished bathroom has a brand new white bath and separate shower cubicle with Mira sport electric shower.
There is also a box room which is used mainly for storage . A high chair or travel cot can be provided if desired
Wifi is available throughout the flat (which is free) and there is a garden(shared) at the rear of the property. (unlimited wifi)
Use of drying washing lines
The property is now now a no smoking zone. Small dogs are allowed as long as they have their own bedding and towels - it is kindly requested that guests keep them off the furniture & beds as this involves extra cleaning & therefore extra cost to myself.
Cumbrae is a haven for wildlife - seals live in the bay and all types of seabirds nest here from around the world. A quiet coastal road, approximately 10 miles around the island, is safe for walkers and very popular for cycling. Footpaths over the island provide rural walks and panoramic views across the sea.
There is a good bus link between the ferry port and the town centre, where the flat is just two minutes walk from the last bus stop at the old pier.More

Lovely clean flat. Best for couples or maybe with older child or 3rd adult.
Two flights of steps / stairs are something to add to our fitness routine but wouldn’t suit everybody.

We are ideally located in a very quiet street on Cumbrae yet very central being 5 minutes away from the Main Street.
Getting around
As the flat is very centrally located you can easily park your car and forget about driving. Shops, pubs and restaurants and the beach all within a five minute stroll
We are located 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop for anyone travelling by public transport too
