Smugglers Cottage is a small unique stone cottage conveniently situated in George Street, Millport just a stone's throw away from beautiful sandy Newton Beach, The Garrison House and gardens, as well as the world famous Cathedral of the Isles. Whilst the cottage is over 100 years old it has been sympathetically restored. The accommodation comprises of an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a separate small double bedroom and a modern wet room with electric shower and WC all on the one level with under floor heating throughout. The kitchen includes a washing machine, dishwasher, full oven and hob, larder fridge, microwave and nespresso coffee maker. There is a small shared outdoor garden area that is accessed by a small path, then down 3 or 4 steps where garden chairs are provided for your use where you can enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine. The cottage is designed for guests to benefit from a relaxing and peaceful holiday and we have deliberately decided not to equip the cottage with a TV but there is Wi fi available. So switch off your phone, put a log on the fire, open a book or even a bottle! The cottage is a small space and whilst it can sleep 4 we would recommend that it is better suited to 2 or 3 at the most. More
