Perfect Mountain Getaway

Fantastic cabin in the snow

This cabin was perfect for our family get-a-way. We went hiking on the property and saw a red fox! There is a sledding hill at the base of the cabin. We took a day trip and went snowmobiling from Buena Vista to the Great Divide....More

About the neighbourhood
Our cabin is located between the towns of Alma & Fairplay. There is no traffic, tons of people and stress. It's pure relaxation and unplugging. In Fairplay, you'll find a world class brewery, winery, steak house, fudge factory that serves the best fudge and huge sandwiches, Park Bar restaurant, Millonzi's Italian, Ice Cream Shop, cafes, grocery store, hardware store, liquor store, gift shops, ski/snow sport rentals, fishing and camping supply store. You can get some South Park T-shirts or memorabilia. We have fishing in tons of places (both fly & traditional), hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, beautiful drives and in the center to reach all the busy towns.
Getting around
During Snow Season (Nov-April) A 4WD/AWD SUV is necessary. Also, during heavy snow season, the State of Colorado imposed a law that all residential and commercial vehicles must carry a set of chains in case roads become hazardous to drive on.
