a very peaceful location, very clean apartment with some welcome provisions provided on arrival including free range eggs. There's lots to see and do in the area or your could just relax and put your feet up. Jan and Paul were friendly and excellent hosts.

About the neighbourhood
We are situated 5 miles from Foyers where the Falls of Foyers can be found, this is a spectacular 140 foot waterfall in which the River Foyers drops down toward Loch Ness, here you will also find a village shop and café with a post office.
Also in Foyers is The Craigdarroch Hotel which has a bar which serves great food and had spectacular views over Loch Ness .

Another pub/restaurant is the Whitebridge Hotel situated in the village of Whitebridge, approximately 4 miles away.
The name Whitebridge comes from the bridge over the River Fechlin, constructed in 1732. This was built by General Wade as part of a military road in an attempt to suppress further Jacobite risings.

The airport is approximately 6 miles east of Inverness and there are various hire car companies based in and around the terminal.
