Excellent as always - a little home from home. This was our second time to Samhach and it never fails to disappoint. Perfect accommodation for a couple or small family. About the neighbourhood
We are situated 5 miles from Foyers where the Falls of Foyers can be found, this is a spectacular 140 foot waterfall in which the River Foyers drops down toward Loch Ness, here you will also find a village shop and café with a post office.
Also in Foyers is The Craigdarroch Hotel which has a bar which serves great food and had spectacular views over Loch Ness .

Another pub/restaurant is the Whitebridge Hotel situated in the village of Whitebridge, approximately 4 miles away.
The name Whitebridge comes from the bridge over the River Fechlin, constructed in 1732. This was built by General Wade as part of a military road in an attempt to suppress further Jacobite risings.
