This is still very much a rural area, where people know each other. Visitors always comment on the friendliness of the people. So, dont be afraid to ask directions etc !
Getting around
You can get a bus' from the local village which interconnects with a wide range of destinations !

There's an old abbey close by , lots of walks and streams and rivers locally.

Great spot
I stayed here for a few days while traveling around Ireland and I must say I really enjoyed it. Michael and the animals were great Craic. Michael took me up to the famous Jim of the mils pub and it was one of the best nights iv had in my travels. Well recommended! The accommodation was really nice clean and warm with a fantastic view. Already looking forward to my return :)
