Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

I stayed here for 4 nights in June - a perfect location for exploring and one of the most scenic drives (up through Glencoe) that I've ever seen. The cottage is really well equipped and lots of nice extra touches to make you feel at home (toiletries, salt, pepper, oil, water etc). The weather wasn't great (typical Scotland) but there was a lovely outdoor deck area to sit with your morning coffee and a covered hot tub to relax in. Even in June I made use of the log burner a couple of times which just made the property feel even more cosy and idyllic. The host has clearly gone to a lot of effort to provide guests with a full 5* experience. I'll definitely return.

Welcomed by the owner and a roaring wood fire. Accommodation was luxurious. Even though the living area was cosy it was still very comfortable. We felt at home and would have stayed longer if we had the time. We also enjoyed the hot tub!

Bluebell Cottage is a beautiful holiday home in a secluded wood by the shores of Loch Lhinne. Tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped for all your needs. Very comfortable and all modern appliances including wifi and free sat tv should you need a day indoors during bad weather. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to all. Hope to stay again in the future.

Bluebell Cottage is a superb holiday destination for the discerning traveller. Nestling within the foothills of Glencoe, Bluebell Cottage is located within easy driving distance of Fort William, providing an excellent starting point for exploring the Highlands and Western Isles. The accommodation itself is impressive throughout, offering modern facilities within a rural setting. The open plan living room/dining area/kitchen leads onto a delightful balcony area and the two bedrooms are spacious and above all comfortable. This property has much to commend it, the owner is a delightful lady, and even if the Scottish weather takes a turn for the worse, you will still be beguiled by the many charms that this property has to offer.

We stayed 2 nights there and we loved it ! The house is lovely, modern and well decorated. It's well located as well, 5 minutes driving from Glencoe but in the same time it's a really quiet place !

This is a beautiful, modern apartment in the woods. It offers all amenities that you normally look for in an apartment. And with 2 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it is great value for money as well. The whole place has been very tastefully done by the owner, I will simply recommend this place to anyone who wishes to visit Fort William/Glencoe.
