Beautiful quiet surroundings. We were so enthralled with the place after a few days we were trying to figure out how we could live here . The south coast of England is one of the jewels of the world.

About the neighbourhood
Rousdon is one of the smallest parishes in England. There is a social club just outside the main gates of the estate and a small general shop and garage. The Dower House hotel is a minute in the other direction has a bar and restaurant and the Orchard Hotel is opposite the main gates. Charton Bay is the beach (exclusive to the estate) and access is via a steep, cliff top path (weather permitting) which may not be suitable for the infirm or very young. The public beaches of Lyme Regis and Seaton are within a few miles.
Getting around
Closest train station is Axminster which is a 15 minute car ride away. Axminster is a 2.5 hour train journey from Waterloo, London. Lyme Regis is 2.5 miles away.
